The Opportunity We are currently seeking an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to join our T3 Mine Maintenance team in Thompson, Manitoba. This is a permanent full-time position working on a rotation schedule consisting of Monday to Friday. As an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible to continuously improve the work team performance through effective use of established processes and procedures in achieving assigned objectives. Your experience and skills will work with the T3 Mine to ensure the mobile/Stationary fleet is effectively contributing to the production profile which includes development of long-term and short-term maintenance initiatives, practices and procedures. Additionally, in this position you will: Promote and enforce safety, environmental, and operational standards, ensuring zero harm to employees, the business, the environment, and the community, while holding the crew accountable for safety, housekeeping, teamwork, and professionalism. Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities in line with the Asset Management Framework, working within established budgets, guidelines, and safety plans to support area targets and overall objectives. Collaborate effectively with engineering, production, and service teams, participating in planning and scheduling routines to achieve Maintenance Department goals. Drive improvements in reliability, maintenance, and processing methods to reduce costs and minimize production losses due to equipment issues or downtime. Lead and manage a unionized workforce in accordance with Vale policies, procedures, and collective agreements, identifying and organizing necessary training for team members to meet operational requirements. Oversee work order planning and scheduling, including daily review of statuses, prioritizing urgent and emergency tasks, addressing critical issues, and managing SAP resource capacities for both surface and underground locations. About You Education: Interprovincial Red Seal certification is required. Completion of a supervisor training program is preferred. Experience: Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in an industrial setting. Experience with SAP is preferred. Skills: Ability to work with minimal supervision and work well with others in a team environment. Demonstrated ability to motivate, coach, influence and collaborate with others to build effective working relationships. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Software skills in MS Office products.
