SENIOR ACCOUNTANT - FINANCE

- Reconcile monthly and quarterly balance sheet accounts to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
- Analyze internal and external financial statements for discrepancies and explain variances.
- Ensure fixed assets and depreciation is calculated accurately on a monthly basis.
- Ensure capital an operating leases are tracked and recorded as required on a monthly basis.
- Intercompany and due to/from related party transactions are recorded and reconciled monthly.
- Payroll review, reconciliations and account maintenance.
- AP and Bank reconciliations.
- Accounts receivable coordination and GL maintenance.
- Ensure that an orderly accounting filing system is maintained.
- Assist Controller with internal and external audits.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Lives the Brand.
- CPA designation or currently enrolled in CPA program.
- 2+ years’ experience as a general accountant creating journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts and assisting in full the full accounting cycle.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel.
- The knowledge and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, and/or equivalent.
- Excellent English language skills.
- Prior experience in hospitality, entertainment or gaming is an asset.
- The ability to obtain registration as a Category 1 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.

- Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in a highly regulated and controlled environment, but there will be times where you will need to be on the Casino Floor to complete job functions as outlined or pass through this area. On the Casino Floor, you may be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including, but not limited to, excessive noise.
- This is an onsite position requiring a commitment to a 5-day work week, Monday through Friday.
