Job Description:Alstar Group of Companies Ltd. has been providing quality construction services to the oil & gas industry since 1969. Located in Calgary & Leduc with projects throughout Western Canada, we are a leader in the industry for turn-key new construction, maintenance and prefabrication.We are looking for Apprentices Ironworkers, Camp / In-Field with accommodations provided for camp job and flat rate to cover travel - typically covers your preferred method of travel. What we're looking for from you - If this describes you, we'd love to meet!
  • Journeyman Ironworker Certificate
  • WHMIS 2015, CSO, Standard First Aid, HS2 Alive and Fall Protection
  • Successfully complete a pre-access drug and alcohol testing
  • Valid apprenticeship ticket
  • Oil and gas experience preferred, not required, comfortable working in all weather conditions
  • Willingness to travel away from home for extended periods of time
  • Oil and gas experience preferred, not required
Requirements:
  • Journeyman Ticket
  • H2S Alive
  • Intermediate First Aid (Level B and C)
  • CSO by Energy Safety Canada
  • CSTS by Alberta Construction Safety Association
  • WHMIS 2015
  • Fall Protection
  • D&A
  • Fit Testing - Scott AV 3000 and 30 7500 Half Mask and,
  • Oil and gas experience is preferred but not required.
