- Provide expert advice on paint department products, highlighting features, and suggesting complementary items.
- Address customer inquiries with expertise and professionalism. Efficiently resolve complaints by understanding the issue, offering viable solutions when able.
- Actively seek customer feedback to identify areas of improvement. Bring recommendations to Store Management based on this feedback and evolving customer trends.
- Assist in inventory management, counts, etc.
- Develop a foundational knowledge of all store departments.
- Handle phone calls courteously and process various payment methods accurately at the cash register.
- Drive sales through departmental knowledge and staying up to date with trends.
- Support product marketing through merchandise displays, visual presentation, and labeling.
- Maintain the paint department, ensuring a clean and organized environment.
- Stay informed on current promotions and store flyers.
- Work in compliance with laws and regulations, attend and complete all required health and safety training, report all accidents, and take every precaution reasonable to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.
