
Simulation Assistant

Key Responsibilities
- Corresponds with internal and external users of the Centre, including coordination of room booking.
- Supports various forms of simulation technology software including, but not limited to, creating and maintaining user accounts, introducing faculty and staff to the simulation program, building exam evaluations within the simulation software, checking evaluations for accuracy and functionality, and assist with training as needed.
- Maintains inventory management and procurement of supplies.
- Assists with the use of equipment such as high-fidelity mannikins.
- Supports 3D printing and silicone casting to create equipment for use in the simulations and Centre in general.
- Assists with equipment set up and room arrangements for programming within the Centre.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary training in administration, business, or IT, plus three years of related simulation experience (or an equivalent combination of training and experience).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with shifting priorities to meet conflicting deadlines.
- Experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with a strong technology & IT background for working in different computer programs.
- Attention to detail.
- Heavy lifting of moving equipment up to 50lbs is a responsibility of this position.
