- Conduct regular walking patrols of factory sites and contractor locations
- Perform access control, ensuring only authorized personnel enter restricted areas
- Observe, report, and document any suspicious activity, safety concerns, or security breaches
- Maintain accurate and timely incident and shift reports
- Enforce site rules and regulations in a professional manner
- Participate in and comply with WSIB safety protocols and training
- Communicate effectively with site personnel, contractors, and supervisors
- Provide a visible deterrent to criminal or unsafe activity
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- G Class Driver’s License with access to a vehicle preferred, but not mandatory
- Prior experience in security, especially in industrial or factory environments, is an asset
- Physically able to perform foot patrols and stand for extended periods
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to follow procedures and respond to incidents calmly and professionally
- Completion of WSIB safety training (or willingness to complete upon hiring)
