- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited post-secondary institution
- Registration or eligibility for registration as an Engineer-in-Training or Applied Science Technologist/Technician with a recognized professional association
- Minimum of two years of experience in land development and/or municipal civil design projects
- Proficiency using AutoCAD and Civil 3D for civil infrastructure design
- Experience preparing design drawings for water, sanitary sewer, storm drainage, and roadworks
- Strong understanding of site grading, stormwater management, and erosion and sediment control principles
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with a distributed project team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and coordination
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines in a consulting environment
- Willingness and ability to attend occasional site visits and field inspections as required
- Experience working on municipal capital construction projects
- Exposure to construction inspection and contract administration services
- Experience preparing quantity take-offs and preliminary cost estimates
- Familiarity with local municipal standards, guidelines, and approval processes
- Experience preparing tender packages, requests for proposals, or procurement documents
- Experience working directly with clients, contractors, or regulatory agencies
- Knowledge of stormwater modeling or servicing calculations
- Previous experience working fully or partially in a remote role
- Prepare detailed civil engineering design drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D for land development and municipal infrastructure projects
- Perform onsite and offsite water, sanitary sewer, and storm drainage servicing calculations
- Develop site grading plans, stormwater management plans, and erosion and sediment control plans
- Assist with the preparation of record drawings and as-built documentation
- Support project managers with scope, schedule, and budget coordination
- Prepare technical reports, design memos, and supporting documentation
- Assist with procurement processes including tender, RFP, and RFQ documentation
- Conduct site inspections and prepare clear, concise inspection reports
- Coordinate with internal team members, clients, and external stakeholders
- Perform quantity take-offs and contribute to cost estimating activities
- Support construction-phase services and respond to field inquiries as required
