- Perform regular staff appraisals within specific time frames, and initiate recognition and corrective and disciplinary action, as necessary.
- Establish and maintain a merchandising & display plan for the store.
- Schedule staff operate a computer POS system and all related procedures and reports.
- Accountable for all security issues involving cash handling, theft, liability, and premises.
- Ensure proper storage of product, equipment, and fixtures.
- Contribute to growth of Panorama through acting upon Suggestions from staff and guests alike.
- Prepare operating and capital budgets as required.
- Organize and conduct promotional activity.
- Conduct our business with suppliers and representatives with uncompromising integrity and maintain the highest personal standards of ethical behavior.
- Demonstrate knowledge of all Panorama products, special events, promotions, policies, and procedures.
- Implement and maintain a staff communication binder and board.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and safe environment for our Guests and co-workers.
- Train and coach staff,
- Ensure staff adherence to policies and procedures.
- Hands-on experience as a store clerk in a grocery and/or retail environment.
- Strong verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong computer literacy especially with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Must have some experience with Retail Point of Sale equipment.
- Desire to succeed, learn and develop in a professional environment.
- Guest oriented and able to work under pressure, positive, energetic, and enthusiastic.
- Able to be on feet throughout an eight-hour day.
- Working on your feet in store for long periods, lifting and moving of boxes and product up to 60 lbs
