- Ensures data integrity by verifying input and calculations;
- Maintains organized computer and/or hard copy files for easy identification and retrieval;
- Maintains inventory of office supplies, first aid supplies and chemicals;
- Prepares purchase orders and order goods independently and for Supervisors, Maintenance Manager and Project Manager;
- Receives goods and processes invoices;
- Resolves payment problems for suppliers;
- Answers the telephone and provides basic information;
- Greets visitors and maintains Visitor Sign in Log;
- Completes forms and assists with Human Resource function;
- Assists with Health & Safety programs and recordkeeping.
- Preparation of various paperwork, including but not limited to invoices
- Corresponds with customers via email and provides basic information
- Experience in a Concur, Ariba environment would be an asset;
- Experience and understanding of office functions;
- Supports plant operation by providing administrative and clerical support;
- Computer proficiency with good working knowledge of Excel (formulas, pivot tables, etc.) and Word;
- Understanding of basic accounting/AP cycle;
- Pay close attention to details and present good planning, organization and time management skill;
- Effective oral and written communications skills, good vocabulary, grammar and the ability to independently compose routine written communications;
- Work effectively with interruptions;
- Handle confidential and sensitive information or issues;
- Good telephone etiquette;
- Work in a team environment and willing to assume additional or new responsibilities readily.
