- Participate in the execution of the Inspection and Test Plans.
- Perform quality inspection in accordance with the project's quality program, the related codes and customer specifications. Such inspections shall include but not be limited to:
- Dimensional inspections.
- Visual welding inspection.
- Work in assorted respirators (clean shaven as required) and plastics (as required).
- Radiological environments.
- Participate in the execution of the required inspections as outlined in the Construction and Inspection Test Plans.
- Review of Certified Material Test Reports as required.
- Perform internal weld monitoring as required.
- Complete all associated documentation and forms for individual inspections.
- Writing and tracking of non-conformance reports and corrective/preventative action requests.
- Support site QC activities associated with the project requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Graduate secondary school education in welding technology, QA/QC or a related discipline at the University or College level.
- W178 Level 2 Visual Weld inspection considered an asset.
- Knowledgeable in ASME Code, B&PV plus Nuclear, CWB experience, and other Technical Standards and Codes associated with the project.
- Computer literate in MS Office.
- Previous experience in receiving inspections and controls within a Nuclear Qualified Program would be considered an asset.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Able to effectively interact with people at all levels of the organization with view to implementing quality requirements and objectives.
